Registration FAQs
I have received the license. How to register Kigo Spotify Converter?
1. Open Kigo Spotify Converter on your computer, and click the "Register" icon at the bottom left corner.
2. Fill in the blanks with your registered e-mail address and the license you get after your purchase. Then click the "Register" button.
What can I do if I get the message "Invalid Code" when trying to register?
1. Please make sure that you are running the right program - Kigo Spotify Converter.
2. Please make sure that you use the correct version of the program. The license for the Windows version cannot be used on the Mac version, and vice versa.
3. The registration code is case-sensitive. And, please do not add a blank at the beginning or the end of the word. We suggest you copy and paste the Email address and Code into the registration popup dialog.
4. If you subscribed to the monthly/yearly plan, you will need to use the new license to manually register KigoSoft again every month/year. Please check your mailbox/junk box and find out the new renewal license for registration.
5. Each license for one computer only. Any attempt to use the registration code on more than one computer will result in an invalid status.
Why can I only convert the first minute of each song?
It is the limitation of trial version. To unlock the restriction, please purchase a license.
What can I do if I don't receive the registration code after the purchase?
If you have not received the code from us, please check that you have entered the correct email address when purchasing the software. Usually, the email and code will be sent directly to your licensed email address. Please check your spam folder in your email. If you still can't find the registration code, please contact us via support@kigosoft.com.

Can I use Kigo Spotify Converter with a free Spotify account?
Yes. Kigo Spotify Converter works with both Spotify Free and Spotify Premium accounts. If you're using a free account of Spotify, the program will automatically filter out ads from the songs you download.
What kind of music does Kigo Spotify Converter support converting and exporting to?
Kigo Spotify Converter supports converting Spotify songs, albums, playlists, audiobooks, and podcasts to MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC. It also supports downloading Spotify video podcasts and music videos to MP4.
Why can't Kigo Spotify Converter be installed on my Mac?
Kigo Spotify Converter supports a minimum of macOS 11 or later (including the latest macOS Tahoe 26). If your system is older than macOS 11 and there is no compatible version available, please upgrade to macOS 11 or later, or switch to the Windows version. If you are a paid user and unable to upgrade, we can provide a free Windows version license. If you need this solution, please contact the support team at support@kigosoft.com.
What are the differences among the conversion modes - Intelligent Mode, Record Mode, YouTube Download?
If you'd like to get the highest output audio quality, please select Record Mode.
If you'd like to convert music more fluently, please select Intelligence Mode.
If you'd like to convert at a faster speed, please select YouTube Download mode.
What's the difference between the app and web player modes?
If you choose to record music from Spotify app, you need to install Spotify app first, and you'll get the best output quality.
If you choose to record music from Spotify web player, you don't need to install Spotify app, just log in to Spotify web player, and then you can download music from Spotify at up to 10x faster speed.
Can I Download Spotify Lossless Audio? How?
Yes. Kigo Spotify Converter supports downloading lossless audio from Spotify locally. Please follow these steps:
1. Ensure you are a Spotify Premium user and make sure you have enabled Spotify Lossless audio. In Spotify app, Log in Spotify Premium > Profile > Settings & Privacy > Media Quality > Lossless.
2. In Kigo program, select Spotify App mode. Go to Settings, set Record Mode as the Conversion Mode and Recommended as the Output Format.
Can I convert my entire playlist from Spotify?
Of course. Kigo Spotify Converter allows you to download and convert entire Spotify playlists, as well as individual songs.
How to sort out the output audios by Artist or Album?
Before converting, go to "Settings" on the bottom left and click "Output Organized", then choose the "Artist / Album" in the drop-down list.
How to output the songs in the same order as the original playlist?
To maintain playlist sequence in downloads, go to "Settings" panel of Kigo program. Under "Output File Name", choose "Playlist Index" and "Title". In "Output Organized", select "Playlist".
The volume of some converted songs are lower than the volume of original ones. Is there any way to improve it?
If you want to download the songs in full volume, just go to the Settings in Spotify and uncheck the "Set the same volume level for all songs" option.
Why does "nativeBridgeHelper" ask for my password on Mac?
Cause: This is a normal step for the program to obtain necessary permissions on new M-series Mac chips and is not an error.
Solution: Enter your Mac password to authorize the audio processing function.
How to fix Failed: 1000?
Cause: Your program is occurring an unknown error and it can't convert Spotify successfully.
Solution: We suggest you try again later.
How to fix Failed: 1005, 1200, 1201, 6208?
Cause: Kigo Spotify Converer converts songs timeout or other errors.
Solution: Relaunch Kigo Spotify Converer, then convert again.
How to fix Failed: 1007?
Cause: Multiple devices are logged into the same Spotify account and playing music simultaneously.
Solution: Please make sure you are using Spotify on this computer alone while running Kigo Spotify Converer.
How to fix Failed: 1010, 1700, 1701, 1702?
Cause: Kigo encountered errors like query no match, query failure, download failure under "YouTube Download" conversion mode.
Solution: Please go to the Settings of Kigo and select Spotify Record mode for a try.
How to fix Failed: 1101?
Cause: Kigo fails to launch Spotify.
Solution: Please re-start Kigo for a try. Should the problem persist, please re-install the Spotify app from its' official website to check whether the issue can be fixed.
How to fix Failed: 1102?
Cause: Spotify fails to play your music.
Solution:
1. Please make sure you are using the latest version of both Kigo Spotify Converter and the Spotify app.
2. Please make sure the original audio can be played on Spotify normally.
3. Please check whether any external audio device is connected to your computer during the conversion, including USB, Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Bluetooth, HDMI, etc. If so, please disconnect it and try again.
How to fix Failed: 1106?
Cause: The current PC has no audio output device and the Spotify Music app cannot play music normally, resulting in conversion failure.
Solution:
1. Please check whether the audio output device is connected properly.
2. Check whether the song can be played normally in the Spotify Music app.
3. If everything is normal, try to convert again.
How to fix Failed: 1703?
Cause: Some tracks require logging into your Spotify account to download.
Solution: Log in to your Spotify account in Kigo and retry the conversion. If the issue persists, restart the program and try again.
How to fix Failed: 4000-4006, 4100-4105?
Cause: Failed code 4000-4006, 4100-4105 means the input/output path does not exist, the program fails to create the output files or the name of the output path is too long, or need authorization to create a folder.
Solution: Run Kigo as an administrator, go to the "Setting" window, set a different output path, and choose "None" under "Output Organized" for a try.
Failed 4003 is caused by the insufficient disk space. Please also try to free up some space on the output path of AudiFab.
How to fix Failed: 4106?
Cause: The output file is too large to save into your FAT disk.
Solution: Please choose another output path and do not select your FAT disk.
I encounter some problem that I can't find any solution in FAQ. How can I get technical support?

2. What's the conversion mode, output format and settings you choose?
3. Please send us the log files of Kigo. You can find them by going to the Kigo Spotify Converter program, Menu > Open log file > logs. They are named record.log, Kigo Music Converter.log and spotify.log.
