Data Protection and Recording Behavior

At KigoSoft, we're committed to providing a transparent and reliable recording experience. Our goal is to help you enjoy streaming music freely while staying aligned with each platform's policies.

Record Songs at 1x

From a technical point of view, streaming services typically cannot tell whether you are simply listening or recording in real time. When recording at normal playback speed (1×), your listening activity usually appears identical to regular streaming behavior, leaving no special trace in platform logs.

Record Songs at 5x - 10x

Using high-speed recording mode (such as 5× or 10x) alters the pattern and frequency of data requests in ways that differ from normal user behavior. Unlike standard 1× playback, which mimics human consumption, accelerated speeds generate rapid, sequential data calls at a rate that is uncommon for organic interaction.

If such high-speed activity occurs repeatedly or across a significant number of tracks, the platform may take action under their user policies, such as temporarily limiting playback features, or restricting certain account functions.

Record Speed

  • 1× speed – Fully consistent with standard playback and recommended for everyday use
  • 5× or 10× speed – Faster and convenient, though playback activity may be noticeable to very few services

You can adjust this in KigoSoft program under Settings > Music Settings > Convert Speed.

Recommendation: For most users who wish to maintain stability and minimize any potential interference with platform services, recording at normal speed (1×) is the recommended choice. And please ensure your actions comply with the platform's terms of use. The choice between high-speed and normal recording is yours to make based on your needs.

KigoSoft continuously improves compatibility and ensures your data remains private. We never collect or share your streaming credentials or playback activity. Our mission is simple: to keep your recording experience safe, smooth, and enjoyable.
